Bio
Chad attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, Soth Carolina. While enrolled he served as a Volunteer Income Tax Preparer for United Way. He received his BA in Economics and History. Chad then attended law school with one goal, to become a trial attorney. He attended Baylor Law School, renowned as the third-ranking trial advocacy program in the nation and graduated in the top third of his class. While at Baylor Law Chad clerked for the Texas State Office of Administrative hearings. There he witnessed the top litigators in Texas argue everything from multimillion dollar tax issues to professional licensing.
After passing the bar exam with a score above the 99th percentile, Chad moved to Colorado. He began his professional career as a Deputy District Attorney with Colorado’s 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. Chad handled over fifteen jury trials, numerous bench trials, and a variety of hearings in his time as a Deputy District Attorney. His caseload spanned a spectrum of misdemeanor and felony charges, including offenses such as DUI/DWAI, Drug Offenses, Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, Weapons Offenses, Explosives, Assaults, and Attempted Murders. Chad also served as the head of the Speed Contest Taskforce for Arapahoe, Douglas, Lincoln, and Elbert Counties while at the District Attorney’s Office.
Since joining Fuller & Ahern, P.C. Chad focused his practice primarily on Family Law. Focusing on Family law allows Chad to leverage his prior litigation experience while also utilizing his background in both tax and economics. This strategic approach allows him to provide comprehensive and effective legal representation in Family Law matters.
